Each Smart Check Pre-Purchase Inspection includes but is not limited to the following areas;

Site: Fences, retaining walls, paths & driveways
Subfloor: Foundation, pile condition and connections, drainage, plumbing, electrical and insulation
Exterior: Cladding, windows, chimneys, external stairs, balconies and decks etc
Interior: Ceilings, walls, doors, floors, kitchen cabinetry, appliances, switches and plugs, bathroom, laundry and windows
Roof: Condition, penetrations, downpipes, gutters, fascia and soffits
Roof Space: Insulation, discharges into the roof, plumbing, electrical, frame and condition
Services: Heating systems, including heat pump operation, smoke detectors, gas service, water, heating
Levels: Floor levels are taken in all rooms with a state-of-the-art digital meter capable of long spans exceeding 40meters
Laser survey: Check Floor levels more accurately for foundation subsidence and movement.
Pest Detection: Visual inspection for pests such as borer and rodents
Moisture Testing : Electronically Moisture levels around windows and other penetrations
Meth testing: Test for methamphetamine Including Instant Results.
*Tested for presence on common household surfaces at a recoverable level starting at a level of 1.5 μg/100 cm2 under NZS 8510:2017 as conducted by ESR.(additional charges for testing apply).
